Programmes

Practical help, from the street to a safe home.

01

Street Outreach

Meeting young people where they are.

Our outreach workers go to the streets to connect with youth experiencing homelessness, often linked to addiction, complex trauma or mental illness. We build trust first, then help with immediate needs and a path toward stable support.

Areas of support

  • Regular street and drop-in outreach to build trust
  • Food, clothing, hygiene kits and other immediate needs
  • Help accessing emergency shelter and safe accommodation
  • Referrals to addiction, health and mental health services
  • Support to obtain ID, benefits and registration with a GP
  • Ongoing key-worker contact as young people move into stable support
02

Exploitation Intervention

A way out of gangs and exploitation.

We work with young people who are involved in gangs, at risk of joining, or being criminally or sexually exploited. Our team offers safety planning, behaviour intervention, mentoring and practical help to leave harmful situations behind.

Areas of support

  • Individual safety planning and risk assessment
  • Behaviour intervention and one-to-one mentoring
  • Practical help to exit gangs and exploitative relationships
  • Liaison with families, schools, social care and police
  • Support for young people affected by criminal or sexual exploitation
  • Education, training and employment pathways
03

Complex Trauma Counselling

Healing from long-term trauma.

Complex trauma comes from repeated or prolonged traumatic experiences. Our counsellors use trauma-informed, evidence-based approaches to help youth understand their pain, build coping skills and regain a sense of safety.

Areas of support

  • Trauma-informed one-to-one counselling
  • Evidence-based approaches including cognitive behavioural therapy
  • Coping skills for anxiety, anger, flashbacks and low mood
  • Rebuilding a sense of safety, trust and self-worth
  • Sessions in person or through our remote services
  • Coordination with other professionals supporting the young person
04

Community Residential Facilities

A supportive home for a fresh start.

Our reentry houses, also known as transitional housing, give youth returning from incarceration a safe, supportive place to live while they rebuild routines, relationships and independence.

Areas of support

  • Safe, supervised transitional accommodation
  • Support with daily routines and independent living skills
  • Help reconnecting with family and positive relationships
  • Reintegration into education, training or work
  • Budgeting, tenancy and move-on planning
  • Continued counselling and mentoring during reentry

Supported Education + Residential Care

Every young person deserves the opportunity to learn, feel secure and develop a sense of belonging. Our programme brings together tailored education and supportive group-home care for marginalised young people with cognitive and learning needs.

Through an individual approach, we support young people to build confidence, develop everyday skills and participate meaningfully in their communities. Learning and care are shaped around each young person’s strengths, needs and aspirations, with an emphasis on dignity, choice and growing independence.

Areas of support

  • Individual learning plans tailored to each young person’s abilities, interests and goals.
  • Support with communication, literacy, numeracy and practical learning.
  • A nurturing group-home environment with consistent routines and personalised care.
  • Opportunities to develop daily living skills, including cooking, budgeting and self-care.
  • Support for emotional wellbeing, positive relationships and community participation.
  • Collaborative planning with families, carers, educators and relevant professionals, where appropriate.
